Role Overview:
The team is looking for a talented, trend-focused, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for beauty to support the NPD and Buying team with the execution of new product and core product development. This role is fast-paced, ever-changing, and requires a team member confident in self-managing and prioritizing tasks, working to tight deadlines, while maintaining consistent productivity and output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Buyers/NPD Managers with new product development (NPD) from conception to launch.
- Assist in product creation and development, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including organizing weekly meetings and managing critical paths to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and manage all supplier samples, keeping internal trackers updated and ensuring samples are meticulously labeled and presented with detailed information to leadership in a timely manner.
- Coordinate all shipments with forwarders, from handover to warehouse deliveries, ensuring smooth and timely logistics operations.
- Execute administrative tasks and ad hoc responsibilities as assigned, always meeting deadlines.
- Assist the Buying team with essential administrative tasks, including product compliance, Leaping Bunny certification, and more.
- Maintain and update internal trackers such as Freight and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Research and stay up to date with competitor and market trends, including pricing, offers, and new product launches, reacting swiftly to changes in demand and logistics to maintain competitiveness.
- Update product details and artwork in line with the latest brand guidelines, ensuring accuracy before reorders and alignment with brand expectations.
- Collaborate with Buyers and NPD Managers on product artwork and design, providing feedback and insights to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Manage product development systems, including raising POs, item management, and building Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Assist in New Product Development (NPD) meetings by taking detailed notes, following up on required actions, and ensuring clear deadlines and responsibilities.
- Perform ongoing analysis of products to ensure exceptional quality, paying close attention to customer feedback and online reviews to inform improvements.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and service in responding to all requests, ensuring all internal and external interactions are smooth and efficient.
- Assist with any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the smooth functioning of the team and company.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:

- Proven experience in managing international freight logistics.
- Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Skilled in multi-tasking, successfully managing multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Passionate about beauty with a deep interest in the industry.

- 1+ years of experience in color cosmetics, skincare, or haircare is preferred.
- Availability to work 5 days a week from the office.
