About the Role

Due to exciting growth, we are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and experienced Senior National Account Manager with a ‘customer-first mindset’ to join our expanding team.

Reporting to the Director of International Sales, you will be responsible for the development and leadership of a team to achieve wholesale targets. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop commercial plans, and you will own, source, and grow our Grocery Channels, while driving your team to manage our key distribution accounts.

Your key responsibilities will include working with each customer channel to achieve consistent sales targets, leveraging our diverse portfolio of brands. You will strive for our brands to become a trusted brand partner and a leader in their categories.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth with key account retailers, aligning activities to annual targets.
  • Manage and maintain key client accounts and unlock commercial brand opportunities.
  • Manage and develop a team to achieve their wholesale goals and support their professional growth.
  • Monitor and report on wholesale targets, collaborating with retailers and distributors.
  • Analyze account performance, including P&Ls, and provide weekly forecast updates to optimize future strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders on brand activation plans and activities.
  • Support retailer expansion and collaborate with Marketing for in-store excellence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments, acting as the sales team’s key lead.
  • Maintain a laser focus on account planning, forward forecasting, and sales revenue growth for the future.
  • Provide visibility into the sales pipeline and execute customer-specific business plans.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and coordinate with other internal functions with the aim of providing a best-in-class service to the customer.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales, Key Account, or National Account Management role.
  • A proven track record in leading a team to succeed.
  • A degree or similar experience within the beauty arena is essential.
  • Mass or Premium brand experience is essential.
  • Experience working within the Irish beauty market is ideal, but not essential.
  • A sales background with a demonstrated history of strong sales performance.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic business.

Key Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective presentation and listening skills.
  • A solid understanding of retail, e-commerce, and marketing businesses.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent at developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • A proven track record as a commercial individual who understands both brand and customer (shopper) needs.
  • The ability to effectively navigate and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and rigor.
  • Results-oriented and proactively solution-driven.
  • Structured and organized, but comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
  • A forward-thinking mindset that allows you to push boundaries and build game-changing cross-functional relationships.
